What Makes Me Different: Every real estate agent will help their clients work through the transaction, but most will think their job is done there. After 30 years of working in real estate I have recognized that often the transition from one home to another is just as stressful as the transaction. This is why I have created a 10-step plan for you to make sure that we cover both the transaction AND makes the move itself less stressful. For example, I'll help you work on the things that often get overlooked, such as notifying friends and family of your new address and getting the inside scoop from your new neighbor’s about the area. My goal is to help you with your whole transition, not just the transaction.
The Unique Background I Bring: Back when I started in real estate, three decades ago, the neighborhood would come greet the new home owners and introduce themselves. Today, that no longer seems to be the case, which is why I take it upon myself to talk to your neighbors and get a feel for your new community. I feel it is my responsibility for my clients to feel a part of their neighborhood from day one and that starts with getting to know your neighbors. For example, I spoke to a client’s new neighbor a few days before they moved in and found out they both had the same favorite football team. This neighbor came by while my client was moving in, and the two struck a friendship immediately off of their common interest. I feel it’s important to keep in mind that you aren’t just buying a house, you are entering into a new lifestyle.
Why I Became a REALTOR: Throughout my life I have always had a passion for helping others and…shopping. As a realtor I feel energized to go into work every day because this is exactly what I get to do. I see my job as your consultant to match your excitement for this process. I know how much my clients have on their plate, so I work hard at forecasting particularly hectic times and problem solving. For example, I want my clients to focus on packing up, so I go shopping for the essentials for that first day in your new home that often go over looked such as paper towels, soaps, and garbage bags. So busy you forgot to eat? Not a problem, this is why I will also make you a home cooked meal on your first night in your new home so you just have to focus on unpacking.
I devote my time and energy to focusing on your goals, offering you options and providing the excellent service you deserve and expect. My commitment is to delivering the highest level of help to earn the deepest level of trust while building a lifetime relationship one person at a time.
